About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the Europe during my winnter break!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Foshan, China, a town famous for its food. I lived there for 17 years then I went to New York University for further study after I graduated from a local high school in Foshan.

Then I joined a special program called LSP which required me to study one year in Florence, Italy. That's why I am here, in this beautiful city.
Italy is pretty beautiful and I have travelled to Rome, Venice, Verona, Turin, and of course Florence.

Also I am a volunteer of Duomo which is the church in Florence. But I do not hold a Christian belief. I like to help people, to be a free tour guide for tourists, showing them around the church. I don't do this for being blessed by gods, just want to help others and I am so happy when they write down their comment on a notebook which the church provides to see the feedbacks from the tourists.

I love music, films. Since I am a Chinese, I prefer Hong Kong movies and Chinese songs. But I also love to watch horror movies which I always watch alone while my friends are scared of that kind of movies. Comedies are good, too. I feel pleasant to see the happy ending of the film.

I am now doing a Europe trip. I hope I can find different friends in varied countries. Meet new people, laugh together, enjoy travel and life. That's wonderful. Nothing is better than this.

And my personality. A little complicate, I think. I am easygoing, but sometimes when I am in a bad mood, I prefer silence and writing something on my blog or writing postcards to my friends. And I am independant, always travel alone to other cities, taking pictures on the seaside or before the castle shining by the sunset. Don't like people who are over sensitive because I am a positive person who like ignoring all the unfortunate things happened in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

We can only live once. So we should enjoy every day of our life.

Meeting new people refreshes your life.

Interests

I like playing badminton a lot! I used to be in the school team and play it with my family every weekend.

Watching movies-movies reflect different life in the world, happy ones, miserable ones, or life through imagination. Recently I watched The Bucked List, a pretty good movie, which told us to treasure what you have already owned.

Reading books. Maybe a little different of others, because I didnt go abroad until I went to university, only read novels from Chinese writers or books in Chinese version. Really like Gone with the Wind.

Riding bike. ( Not competition one)
Since I've learned how to ride bike in my childhood, I love riding bike through the whole city. Across the road, the trees, or a central park in our town. The feeling of the wind is great, and I feel pleasant and relaxed when I am riding bike.

Not restricted whick kind of music. Depends on mood. Rock, classical, pop, blue or other kinds are suitable. And I love writing my blog or letters to my friends accompany with music.

Love watching movies during weekends with my friends. Also, all kinds of movies, especially like horror movies and comedies. Recently watch the Bucked List, a pretty good movie, with moving plot, make ppl think about life and family, to treasure what you have already owned.

Books-Sorry, I live in China for 17years so I only read Chinese books or foreign books in Chinese version. Novel is good but I still like prose. And now I study liberal arts so I've read a lot of books of ancient Greek or Indian. Ovid is a best book among these. Actually not fond of them...>
