There are various avenues of interest I try and pursue.
I want to see some of the world before I find myself commited to another serious venture.
I feel that I am fairly aware but I want to keep learning.
I see myself as a citizen of the world and I am not yet sure I would call anywhere home yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was recommended it by an American backpacker I met.
I havent had a huge amount of funds to socialise and it would be great if I can use this site to meet some interesting people whilst I am here.
Later accommodation and ride sharing would definitely be a plus too.

Interests

I keep up with current affairs. Probably too much so I need to get out and do more shit.
I love being outdoors in the wilds or a forest and recently undertook a bushwalking guiding course to boost my hard skills in multiday hiking.
I enjoy photography and like taking pics of people and the environment.
I collect music and put together the odd mix when the mood takes me.
I blog a bit and write occasionally.

Trying to find a path to broaden some of these areas and become more involved with them somehow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is all over the place; black metal to minimal techno to hip hop and prog rock.
I like to DJ drum and bass and glitch hop but pretty much anything goes and a lot of my mixes become fairly experimental.

Top movies; fifth element, pans labyrinth, howl's moving castle, pulp fiction, akira, edge of tomorrow.

Books; Was really into iain banks but he died. I liked some fantasy like feist but they get a bit repetitive. I'm struggling to read some factual books to teach myself some stuff but they aren't as exciting as a novel to escape into.
