I have traveled around the US over the last 7 years, making friends and memories along the way. I hope to buy a school bus in the next few months and start a Skoolie conversion where I will live while going back to school pursuing a medical related degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couch surfed before while bicycling on the west coast south from Portland. I have since lost that email address. I love meeting new people and living a moment through their eyes while trading stories of adventures and experiences. Challenging my own ideals and views through listening to others keeps my eyes fresh for each new experience.

Interests

I am pursuing a medical related degree to join Doctors without borders or a similar group. I love medicine and helping people, so I want to see the world for how it is, beyond the media coverage and the general blindness to other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Walden has to be up there on my favorite books. I listen to almost any music, but I prefer good lyrics over a good beat. Johnny Cash, and Slaid Cleaves to Grimes to Queen and Journey. Have they made a good movie since the 90's? I usually look to film festivals instead of the box office.
