About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be alive by the time I reach Sydney 09/24/2010
ABOUT ME
I'm currently travelling south east Asia following graduation from uni & before I start my masters degree. In London I work as many days per week as possible to usually save to travel! I work at a supermarket as a chef. I love cooking good food, and usually take notes from the programme 'Masterchef- where cooking doesn't get tougher than this!' I'm always interested in trying new dishes from different cultures as it widens the pallette knowledge. I eat a colassal amount of food, with there being little food that displeases my pallette. My ma always says "the way for any girl to get to your heart, is through your belly". I hope to become fluent in French asap, Spanish soon and hopefully mandarin by 30. I'm learning French at the moment, but with my girlfriend as my teacher, times can get tricky!! She's very strict with pronounciation and often says I sound "like an English guy trying to speak French", of which I reply 'I AM!' I enjoy singing and dancing but it's debatable whether i can do either... I love dressing up smart and am usually presentable- when not travelling! As any traveler knows, standards slip when you have 3 hours sleep, or you're on that much of a budget that you can't afford or don't bother a hair cut. To me it's all part of the experience growing the travelers beard.. I'm calm, easy-going, very organised, polite and confident. I'm a gentleman who has been brought up by two loving parents with morals and a thorough understanding of life. I want to be able to try things that people dare to do, to strive, to succeed, to further on in life. I want to be able to achieve my upmost, but most of all, i want to be happy..
PHILOSOPHY
It may sound a little cliche, but you only have one life, so why not live it?! I hope to continue to explore the world extending my perimeter and understanding of an area! What if tomorrow never comes? Would you be happy with what you've done?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The only couchsurfing experience was staying on a friends couch away from home in order to work.. So technically I haven't really opened my couchsurfing account but I suppose everybody has to start somewhere.
Interests
I obviously love travelling- the opportunity to learn cultures, foods and languages is a big interest of mine! I love meeting new people and sharing experiences which is a by product of travelling alone. I support my local football team Charlton Athletic. I'm in general a very sporty person and love snowboarding, football, cycling, running, swimming but enjoy other sports. I'm very much into my Volkswagen Golf, it's an early shape.. I prefer the old cars, more of a character!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- the hangover is my favourite, Taken, 7 pounds.
Music- my favourite is probably R&B but am easy with any particular music, as long as it has a good beat! I love the lyrics that the artist Drake produces!
Books- Lee childs 'Running Blind' is a favourite, Child 44, Jack Kerouac 'on the road'..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Mt. Kinabalu in SE Asia up and down within 8 hours.
Climbing Mt. Bromo in Java at 3am to catch the clouds below the active volcano, the outline of the volcano was clear cut.
Snowboarding through Verbier. The views on a clear day are beautiful!
