Try to be of some help and to appreciate you and your presence here in my place as I did and will do when I'm travelling or so.
After one year and a half spent in Ireland under the rain and the moody weather, I'll try to spend some nice and relaxing time more in the South of Europe.
Latin Languages are so nice to me, I'll then try to spread my knowledges in much more directions.
Spain and Sardinia, I'm coming soon =)
Otherwise, I'm just a guy with a backpack, experiences of life, all differents, all interesting when you know that each one is giving you more for next time, both good and bad experiences are building a strong knowledge of life.
"Things that happen to you once can probably never happen twice, but what happened twice will certainly happen a third time" Paolo Coelho, for the rest: "Mektoub" ;-)
Do not do to the others what you should not want the others do to you.
When you have to choose between two ways, choose always the most difficult, because it's the only one that can ensure you'll give the best you are to reach your goal.
Great Chinese master Tong said this very wise sentence:
The one who falls asleep with the ass that itches will wake up with the finger that smells!!! Hihihi :-)
:D :P :-0
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll try to make every CS experience being a good one. To do that, I think the best is to share, to explain, to spread, to deal with informations, past experiences and to give the good advices when we are enough educated on the subjects to deal with efficiently.
My goal is about to meet people with who the feeling will be good and with who the CS opportunity will be a exchange of few things, or just well being. I just want to feel good without passing through brainstorms (or only if it becomes funny ;-)).
Should I list all of them?
I just would like to say that each one have been nice in a way or in another, and definitly I had loads of good people at home. Was I lucky? I just think CS is a people's beautifier (even if it'was not English, you still get it, don't you?). People is already happy to find a place, some hospitality, some surrounding, feel less stressed than being by your own in an unknown place lost in nowhere. I like the way being an host/local in these case can help a lot someone else. Not just the roof, but the advices, the knowledge of the place, the understanding of the lifestyle around, the things to avoid and the very good tips...
I love to have real pleasant and serious argues, discussions about loads of things, and as well I begin to hate the usual/diplomatical/everydays stuffs like the rugby/soccer results, how has been the last week end and how the fuck you did change the bulb of my lamp last night ;-)...
Life, joy, simple pleasure and good moments.
All the ways that can make able to reach this 1st point (is it to be epicurian??? :D ).
Snowboarding, pois spinning, juggling both with twirling staff and balls, online skates and bike riding, climbing, hiking, walking, camping, reading..... I guess it's time to stop !!!??? ;-)
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
French stuffs: Akhenaton, Le peuple de l'herbe, IAM, Hilight tribe, Anais, Naab, Matmatah.
International bands: Ana Torroja,
Craig Armstrong, Radiohead, Archive, Portishead, both
Electronica, Ambient, Rock, Alternative and a bit of R&B (just a little bit), World and ethnic based musics, Lounge, Meditation, Nature sounds, but also musics that can be heavier like "System of a down", "Rage against the machines", "Millencolin", "Prodigy" (The fat of the land is the best one ;-)), "Incubus", "Porcupine tree".... STooOOOOop!
And also some things totally different like "Sigur Ros", "Morcheeba", "Hooverphonics", "Loreena McKennitt" the list could be soooo long... So I think I'm generally open enough (who asked for classic music??? "Mozart", "Beethoven", "Vivaldi" and "Bach"... ;-)).
I don't know how to explain it in few words, but as for the music, I'm open to books that make me learn things or really make me dream... Paolo Coelho has some ideas I like and he's one of the origins of my "Internationalisation" But I love also to escape reality in Heroic fantasy readings (e.g. JRR Tolkien ;-) not only, but it's THE famous reference). But also Ken Follet, or John Grisham, and eventually some other SF books like "Fight club" from the author with the almost unreadable name: "Chuck Palahniuk"
Amelie(*****), Snatch(****), Dogma(****), La vita e bella(*****), the dead poets' society(*****), the Spanish apartment(****), American history X(*****), Amen(****), The Pianist(*****), Usual suspect(****), Fight club(****), Into the wild(****)
I think in few time I'll have to change my feedbacks and add some new titles ("The departed", "Blood diamond", "Ratatouille"--> So funny and cute...) because original versions are so much better :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A first thing was to have a crying stranger in my arms when this person was really not ok and to do my best trying to make her mood better... Not easy, but still very impressive. When you know the people that sounds easier, but otherwise, it is just so insane, even still good to be there and to think you can be helpful... I wish I was.
another amazing thing I've ever experienced is to laugh to death all together with friends because of a funny situation or a good joke. But I've seen an tremendous thing that I want to do with other people: "Free hugs" movement. I don't understand why there is so few people that are interested in this kind of beautiful mindings.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could almost teach and learn the same kind of things:
Programming s scarying!!!
I think the two other points are already the things I want to share but also smiles, friendly moments.
