HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will tell the people I meet about this great place and the ideals behind it. And write referals/reviews when I have the opportunity to do so.

Since I'll be traveling my online time will be limited I may not have access to internet for months at a time as I plan to go for outback routes :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None through this website.
All my couchsurfing experiences were without planning and pretty much "accidents" of sorts.
I enjoyed the open attitude and trust my hosts displayed by letting in a complete stranger.
On hikes I have been invited in for more inside their home, simply because I requested permission to use a facility (e.g. drinking water) on their terrain before making use of it.
Show respect for the environment you find yourself in and try to leave the place better then when you entered it.

Music, I listen to various music depending on the mood I'm in or whatever is on at the moment. I'm not a big music critic and can enjoy anything from classical music to rock or metal.
