About Me
ABOUT US
Local art and music types living in Los Angeles. We've been lucky enough to travel a great deal and it is one of our biggest motivators in life. We live here with our new baby Ajax and our kitty Púca. Those names should clue you in about us a bit.
We are big time geeks and spend a good amount of our time doing geek tangential things. We are medieval re-enactors, post apocalyptic pre-enactors, convention goers, tabletop gamers, video gamers, etc. We both do a ton of fabrication from building custom Mad Max cars to full sets and costumes, so that's how we spend a lot of free time. We go out less now that we have a baby, but know all of the cool things happening in the area regardless because lady half works as press and both halves are entertainment industry (video game developer and fabricator for TV/film)
Wife cooks most nights. Happy to have you join.
Husband does smoke marijuana, but only outside. Non smokers otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books
We've got a huge collection of campy and cult classic films. We both love "bad" movies - love to see the good in bad! Most of our movies are from the 70's-90's. Our DVD section goes as follows: cartoons, fantasy/sci fi, action, comedy, western, martial arts/samurai, Disney. We both love Dystopian futures and cheesy fantasy.
As far as music, wife is into mostly metal; death, black, avant garde, post-metal, melodeath, folk, viking, djent, tech death, doom, industrial-metal, prog and gothic metal make up about 50% of my music collection. Neofolk, Scandinavian folk, industrial, post-industrial, martial, psytrance, cyber grind, psybient, dark ambient, ambient, some breakcore, electro swing, rockabilly, psychobilly, zeuhl, neoclassical darkwave, flamenco, EDM, celtic, video game OST, bluegrass, glitch, drone, stoner, noise, sludge and horror punk make up the rest.
The husband is the son of a professional bassist and his taste in music is pretty eclectic.
Books - We are both into fantasy, sci fi, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, philosophy, mythology and theology. We both also like books that have something to teach us, whatever it may be.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many! We've both been incredibly blessed in life. But we both believe very much in making things happen.
Teach, Learn, Share
We both have the ability to share lots of skills! A big part of our re-enactment is artisan crafts, so we have a full fabrication shop here. We also brew and cook.
Wife is very well connected to LA geek, fetish, metal and entertainment scene goings-on and is happy to help you find things to do outside of tourist stuff.
