Overview
About Me
Was an ALT in Hyogo prefecture for 2 years. Now travelling around Japan working in guesthouses. Just finished working at my 4th one in Kochi so travelling around Shikoku now. A "bit"of a (big) guesthouse fan. And a picnic fan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When someone tells you enough wonderful stories about couchsurfing you are gonna join it. I have a huge couch surfing fan for a friend. Being very transient at the moment I am looking to join cities with faces. Having lived in Japan for only two and a half years I love seeing how everyone lives here differently.
Travelling solo makes you realise how much you need good conversations. I just wanna learn about something from someone every once in a while. There are so many freaking different types of people in the world I am never, ever going to meet but I feel lucky if I can just meet a few of them out there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Of late, been listening to Devendra Banhart, Sufjan Stevens and Never Young Beach. Big fan of exchanging music, especially local music. A band from where I am from... https://perth.bandcamp.com/
Teach, Learn, Share
I like craft activities. I can teach you how to make a pom pom with a fork.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Always ready to share a chat, a laugh and a drink. I enjoy cooking, partcicularly for/with other people but I'm no chef.
Of course, any information on Australia and guesthouses I can muster is all yours if you would like it!
Thanks to guesthouses can clean like an (almost) pro.
