ABOUT ME

I believe in being alive. The passion of feeling and just being is quite intense, and my goal to understand as much as I can helps me feel it and more. I spend a good deal of time searching myself, and learning of others. I have found people are the greatest resource for ulterior perspectives and thus questions. They are wonderful, amazing, and complex, often despite themselves. I personally deal in honesty, compassion, courage, justness, humility, and others, among which compel me to share and learn.

PHILOSOPHY

Understanding. There is much more, but the jist is to understand. I believe it is the one thing I can help with most in bringing happiness to this world, which is what I feel it is meant for. I speak to many people of many spiritual paths, I help anyone I can in what ways I am able, but in all things, I am myself. If you are afraid of yourself and have no want to deal in such curiosities, then perhaps there are others more intriguing for you. Other than this, I am essentially a big kid (as one of my younger friends succinctly put it), I play, laugh, run, and try to experience all that I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am moving to Richmond, soon hopefully I will have an extra bedroom; til then I am looking to talk and understand anyone. I have a place I may be able to open to this, but I have not seen it yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, my friend Elizabeth Fuller, who just moved to AK told me of this site, I was intrigued.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Honestly, if it weren't for my friends I'd have no experience in any media but books. However, they have helped me. As for movies I enjoy Hitch-hikers Guide (british), black-adder, tron (nastalgia), The Adventures of Baron Von Munchausen, Life of Brian, Shock Treatment and Rocky Horror, Brazil, and any movie that carries multiple levels and messages.

As for music, it is similar to movies, but I do enjoy 10cc, Grieg, Toccata and fugue in D minor, Liezt, Postal Service, Billy Talent, Blood Hound Gang, Bright Eyes, Crash Test Dummies, Garbage and others. I have an eclectic taste, which is developed from, again, my friends. I picked what I liked from their selections normally.

As for books, I tend to read some Fantasy, Text books [math, stat, science(hard and soft)], Philosophy, and anything with a convoluted story line, or interesting perspective.
