Hello! I am in my early 30s, currently living in Seattle, WA. I like adventure but avoid drama, although I did go to art school. I'm pretty quiet and very self-sufficient. I eat a ton, I don't drink much, I'm quick to smile, and I'm always excited about a new challenge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for places to stay now and again, would rather get out and meet folk rather than just stay at a motel.
I love most things outdoors, and all my happiest moments involve ridge lines and mountain summits. Love the PNW for that reason. I also race bicycles; road, mountain, and I'm especially fond of 'cross. I love cooking (and eating) and find kitchen time to be relaxing. That's also where I hang out during a party, whenever possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Former punk, former indie rock kid. Music has meant a ton to me, although I don't play anything. I like a lot of things- Nicholas Jaar, Neko Case, Jarvis Cocker, The Clash, The Specials, Sleater Kinney, Kithkin, Car Seat Headrest, Young Fathers, Destroyer, Loscil...
Favorite novel is Against the Day, by Thomas Pynchon.
I unabashedly love Star Wars, but No Country for Old Men is probably my favorite film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got caught in a lightening storm on the summit of Mt. Adams. Didn't die. I don't recommend this!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a bike mechanic - I'm always happy to help out! I also know how to repair espresso machines, if you happen to have one of those. I'll ALWAYS discuss novels and trade music recommendations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A considerate, unobtrusive guest, who's happy to chat, go out, or just do my own thing. Totally willing to camp in the yard.
