ABOUT ME

My friend introduced me to CS awhile back and have enjoyed the experiences and people I've met ever since. Grew up in sunny California curious about the world around me. So I thought I should do something about it and studied abroad for a year in Asia in the Philippines and though it was in the city, I tried as much as I could to jet out and loved the beaches and serene countryside life. Soon I find myself working in London for an internship at an investment bank which given it's logistical location became an enabler in my travel escapades. After coming home to the U.S., I worked for another investment bank doing much of the same thing dealing with OTC Derivatives Collateral Trades back home and it got me thinking to pursue more in the world besides the hum of the computer following endless numbers... I find myself now searching for new missions and after working in with the allure of China, I'd like to go back and forth from Asia and the U.S. whether it be pleasure or business.

Interests

My buddy got me into road biking so I took that up. Hiking toward a goal (i.e. waterfall, awesome scenery). Outdoorsy stuff. Watching lots of documentaries. The incredible dialogue of "mad men" tv series and makes me wonder what it's like to live in the 60's and the House of Cards Series is very intriguing. People watching as I sip my coffee / tea / beer / (insert beverage of choice). Doing things for the first time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding on the roof of a moving jeep where the luggage should be while traversing through narrow mountain roads (what was I thinking? lol)...

Visited the Amish Country across state lines of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland ...I was curious, & I didn't realize how prominent last name Yoder was in that community...
