About Me

I'm a Cantonese girl working and living in Shanghai as a marketer. During my college in Xiamen, a city by the coast in Fujian province, I travelled around China and have been to the four poles, meeting people around the country and enjoying amazing cultural differences, and of course, food and sceneries. Also I've backpacked to Thailand. Traveling is my way of living - to experience everyday even work day as a day of going on the way. "To live everyday my best possible day."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since i often travel alone, to live in a local place that have emotional contact is the best way to experience the most. Also if you come to shanghai, welcome to my apt!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love folk songs and can sing very well if you want to hear.
"Little Forest", a Japanese movie featuring a girl living a whole countryside life by her own. I watched 5 times!
And let's share our reading list together!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when i was hiking in the fantastic terrace of Guangxi Province, Longsheng Terrace, unfortunately i got lost in those enormous mountains, alone. It was over 4pm, i felt the sun was going lower and lower but i just couldn't lead myself out to the hostel. When i was so anxious, a local "Zhuang"(a local minority) man passed by and recognized my nervousness. He offered to guide me and charged me 45rmb. I walked behind him in the quiet mountain without anybody and keep calming myself down, not to think about being killed(omg). Luckily we arrived at the village finally. I think trust between people is so important especially in danger. It saves your life.
