I spent most of my time learning psychology and I'm now fighting to try to get my Ph.D done. Needless to say, I love traveling and meeting new people and that's why I'm on CS. I lived in Shanghai for one year and 6 months in Taipei, now I reside in Hangzhou and I've lived here more than 8 years.
I love philosophy, and the way I understand it to search for knowledge and understanding of the nature and meaning of the universe and of human life.
I'm not religious and if I have to say, I think I'm an agnostic. But I'm always interested in what does religion do and how religion can affect people.
I love discussing these topics with people but I prefer talking to open minded people. I believe every one can have their own thinking about things, we can share or exchange our opinions but we don't have to persuade each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting/talking to different people on the road. I love hearing people's story and to see life through others' perspective.
When I visited Tibet years ago, I met a local Tibetan on the train and she offered for me to stay at her home for several days. It was like 'couch surfing offline' and that was the best experience in my life, to offer the trust to strangers on the road and to get to exchange our experiences/stories. She showed me much more than I could ever find out myself.
Also I will be traveling to Germany/France/Netherlands in July. I would very much like to talk/meet some locals to get to know more about the culture and everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read on a daily base, I love novels that tells a good story and I also love reading non-fictions that can teach me something new. To name several of my favorite books "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance"/"The Schopenhauer Cure"/"Of Human Bondage"/"The Three Body Problem"/"The Selfish Gene", each of these books helped me to open my mind and to understand life in a new way. I also love reading books written by Murakami Haruki/ John Irving. And also A Song of Ice and Fire.
