Grew up in the same lovely suburban home until graduating high school. I then ventured 8 miles down the road to attend The Ohio State University. I soon realized college isn't for me at this point in my life and was simply going to get it out of the way. Whaaat? I figured spending sometime seeing new places and trying new things was a minor itch I needed to scratch. After 2 years of seasonal jobs in different places, my curiosity has only grown! Thus far I have a few conservation corps seasons in Colorado, camp counseling in Ohio, and lift operating in California under my belt. Next stop is Daytona, FL where I plan to give surfing a go and fulfill my dream of sleeping in a hammock between 2 palm trees. I am family oriented, open minded, and love all things outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are so many nifty places to visit, especially as I travel from job to job. Staying with locals has to be the best way to optimize the experience in any place while also meeting some rad people willing to open up their home.

Interests

Family and friend time, pursuit of happiness, hiking, road tripping, camping, karaoke, dancing/flailing limbs to the beat, laughing, snowboarding, stand up paddling, coffee shops, reading, Netflix binges, playing with dogs, cooking, eating, my mini van (Tony), traveling and trying new things to add to this list!
