About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Workin' on a mystery, goin' wherever it leads, runnin' down a dream"

ABOUT ME

Me... well i'm a bit of a geek, and a 'book worm' too. I make music references that almost no one gets. I loose all sanity when my hockey team is the NHL playoffs.
And I prefer a beer over a cocktail...

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to enter every situation with an open mind, and a willingness to learn. To show compassion in every action and interaction... and to just enjoy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully I will be traveling Europe in the next few months. I'd love the opportunity to meet some people from the CS community, and I await the day where i'm in the situation to offer my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none to date.

Interests

I spend most of my time reading or drawing/painting or listening to music. I'm interested in a everything from animal rights to history to politics, and plenty in between.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Love movies; dramas, comedies, action, horror, thriller, ect. I guess my favorite movie is "The Wizard of Oz"

Music: I love all forms of rock n' roll, my favorite being classic rock. I also like; folk, blues, jazz, funk, punk & alternative, country and world.

Some favorite bands/artists are; U2, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Tom petty (and the heartbreakers), Bruce Springsteen, bob seger, David Bowie, The Who, The Tragically Hip, George Clinton, Johnny Cash, The Traveling Wilburys... ect.

Books: I guess my favorite books to read are biographies because I am fascinated by people and their stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have seen is a little, non verbal, autistic boy learn to speak and communicate, and come into his own personality through therapy provided by myself and other dedicated volunteers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know exactly what I can teach others... other than how to make a wicked vegetarian burrito... As for learning, I'm always willing to learn a thing or two. Ya know, I've always wanted to learn how to skateboard, it just seems like a great way to get around.
