To unearth Mt. Holyoke College Summer 2017
ìÃâ¢ÃËëÃâ¦Ãâ¢ÃÂÃâ¢ÃËìÃâøìÃÅ¡Ãâ! i like dancing barefoot, running into friends and spontaneous strangers, gifting, festivals, dressing up, decorating, cooking, and lively things in general. when i feel comfortable, i'm playful and affectionate - especially with children, elderly, animals, and plants! my favorite institutions are secondhand stores, museums, parks, libraries, and venues.

Music, Movies, and Books
i avidly listen to all kinds of music and i never get enough music experiences. i especially love classical, indie, synthpop, house, hip hop, electro, and dubstep.
i'm in a phase of re-reading some fun books i enjoyed long ago: hatchet (6th grade), and flowers for algernon (high school)
recently i watched and loved garden state, koyaanisqatsi, mad hot ballroom, and the wizard of oz :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
on a daily basis! the day before i wrote this, i listened to the NY Philharmonic Orchestra perform copland's "fanfare for the common man" in an enormous, intricately crafted cathedral. the day i wrote this, i enjoyed pancakes prepared by my loving wife made from beans grown by her father on another continent.
Teach, Learn, Share
probably my favorite things to share are fixing and riding bikes in the city, and enjoying veg(etari)anism. i coach and train in gymnastics, and you're welcome to join me in training! i play guitar and piano and read and write music. i sew and have a sewing machine. i have a small library of korean books, DVDs, experience, etc that i love sharing. i massage many of my friends and family. i have years of experience as a full-time and professional educator in nyc for the past 9 years and have advice on getting teaching gigs. also, i love cooking and eating food. a little gifting goes a long way and i love it when visitors gift me with funky or useful souvenirs or a thank-you note - at the least, share something about your hometown. offers to help with cleaning or paying are politley declined in my culture, so if you really want to, just do it, and it will be appreciated. however, i have never declined an offer for massage.
