I am a photographer/editor +lawyer living near the center of Istanbul and traveling around the world quite often. I'm trying to learn new things while traveling. I studied traditional Thai massage and foot massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand a couple of years ago. I may get bored easily that's why I may switch professions time to time.

Even I may look very serious and silent in a crowd, I'm more talkative and sometimes funny in smaller groups, especially with friends.

I don't like to host when I'm super busy as I like to spend some time and exchange information with my guest so I want some free time where I can take care of them at least partially. My profile includes detailed information to increase your chance of being hosted.

I started with Hospitality Club with a recommendation of a friend. After a while I've discovered CouchSurfing also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted more than 200 people in CS&HC combined. I've surfed about 25 couches CS&HC combined.

Interests

I Love Wine and have a good collection from different countries. Generally red is my preference but I also like some special whites like Muscat (dry), Chablis, smoked or any extraordinary ones.

I like scuba diving, trekking and other outdoor sports. Photography, travel, massage, phone card collecting, music, watching movies, being in the nature and friendly chats are my things. I always appreciate a good chat, friendship and sharing.

By the way if you couldn't find it in the references my name is Kemal, but also using English/Spanish name of Kevin also. So, both names are accepted.

I like old style rock like Rainbow, Deep Purple, Queen, some heavy metal like AC/DC and Metallica, some newer rock like System of A Down, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and others like The Knife, Viva La Fete, Souad Massi, Yasmin Levi, Marcel Khalifa and especially ethnic or local music.

I'm doing photography tours professionally and teach advanced photography as a supplementary work when I have free time.

I'm always curious to learn new things.

When you write me requests you'll have more chance of acceptance 1) if you use my real name (you'll find it in references and also written in my profile information). 2) If you mention that you can help me in gardening, clean & keep home tidy, website design as I'm currently planning to prepare few websites. 3) Or anything that you can contribute to my life in a positive way -probably teaching yoga, meditation, exchanging massage, even modeling for my photography or whatever sounds good to me- during your stay. Anyone that contributes with experiences during their stay can stay for extended time and may not be limited with 3 days stay.

My dream is going back to Thailand and bring my Thai massage talents to a master degree. But that seems impossible in near future because of my current job(s) and very busy schedule :(.
