About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm passionate, feisty, deep and real, seriously addicted to text messaging, grassroots organizing and making a difference in the world. I paint my toenails bright colors, love long walks with my dog and long talks with my husband about everything under the sun. I'm into music, white wine and technology and I like to hang out in coffeehouses, but I don't drink much coffee... I love my Mary Kay lipstick, and have a penchant for: killer heels, seriously dark chocolate, dog, kids and geeks.

Interests

I'm kind of a workaholic - I do healthcare information technology for Federally Qualified Health Clinics serving inner city and very rural populations with limited access to care. My husband is a grad student at NYU working on a Masters in Public Administration. We have only lived in NYC for a year and every day is an adventure. We love the bustle of the city, are enthralled with the concept of a thriving public transport system and live a block from Central Park where I spend a LOT of time walking my dog and exploring the wonders of the extraordinary vision of Frederick Law Olmsted... Any free time I have to travel recently has been spent with friends and family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Marrying the love of my life three years ago - the most beautiful day ever
Walking into Notre Dame in Paris. Wow.
While visiting Salisbury, England with my sister, we had a most amazing happy coincidence day. We stumbled upon a lovely tea room at high afternoon tea time and had the most delicious cream tea and then wandered over and into the Cathedral to look at the rose windows JUST as evensong had begun... the choir was beautiful, the windows at sunset were breathtaking and I will never forget that day.
