ABOUT ME

Hi there!
I'm Mercè, a Catalan girl who is going to Bath at the end of February to stay for a few months doing volunteer work at Holburne Museum.

While I am here I'd like very much to meet new people and discover the place. I've been once in Bath and I love it. I really like English Culture and I want to learn more and improve the language at the same time I meet local people.

I am a friendly person who loves to spend a good time meeting with friends, travelling, reading or going to museum exhibitions or other cultural activities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I could not offer a couch to stay as I am travelling to Bath. I've decided to sign up because I'd like to meet new people while I'm here.

Interests

I love to travel, art, history, music, and learning languages and about new cultures. I enjoy really much discovering new places. I like to hang out with friends but I also like to spend some time relaxing and reading a good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kind of music, movies or books. I have also really love watching TV series (sometimes I think too much. I can spend lots of time discussing with friends about these three topics!

Books:
I like fantasy (ASOIF, Harry Potter, LOTR, etc.), Jane Austen, Brönte sisters, Ken Follet, and many others. I love reading!

Movies/TV series:
I like all kind but prefer historical, science fiction, fantasy, or dramas.

Music:
I love all kinds of music and I like to discover new singers. I am an enthusiastic of musicals and BSO. At this moment I am keen on Florence and the Machine, but I've also like Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, in general rock/pop rock and some indie groups.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think this! I'm leaving my contry to live abroad for a while and do some volunteering! I am really excited to go to Bath and discover England!
