About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn to see every day as different!
ABOUT ME
I am a creative person with a diverse interest in the arts, design and am particularly inspired by nature! However I also love the city, culture and what we have to learn from each other. So I like a balance of the natural and urban :)I am sensitive to the world around me and can be quite philosophical, but I also don't take life too seriously and have a sense of humour! I like to think I am grounded but open to change and the slightly unusual ;) I do my best not to judge and to see the potencial in us all, whilst also not being a walk over!...And I'm a vegetarian (just had to throw that in ;)
PHILOSOPHY
We are creatures of habit but gypsies at heart!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I equally enjoy a glass of wine at an art exhibition opening as I do around a fire camping...Socially I best enjoy a dinner with friends, good food and wine and if the moment arrises, a spontaneous party! At the moment I am not really into the clubbing scene, but if the place and time and company is right, I can get into it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not done any couch surfing yet myself, but I have volunteered at an organic farm/college in the UK for a month which was the closest thing to couch surfing I guess...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All my travels have been amazing in their own way, but a special moment that comes to mind is sitting by the Ganges in Varanasi, India and being overwhelmed(in a good way!) at how a place of such filth could be so profoundly beautiful. It was a great moment that I guess informs a lot of my creative process, so it really left an impression.
Teach, Learn, Share
Creative insights, seeing value in what is often perceived as 'trash', working with mixed media ranging from clay, paint, pencil and clutter for artistic purposes, Cob building (haven't done this in a while, but I did build a strawbale/cob clay hut a few years back), arranging exhibitions....I am part of a group that hosts one-day art exhibitions so I'm pretty good at all the logistics involved. And I sew and make clothes and bags so could always teach a thing or two in that department. Basically I'm a mixed media creative ;)
