About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life as full as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm a laidback and curious guy, born in a somewhat "big" city where you get almost everything such a city can give you.
My friends would probably characterize me as a little bit naiv, which has put me in some weird situation but most of them proved to have given a positive outcome.
Besides being curious and naiv, i am one of those guys who can listen to music all day not doing anything thing else. At last i just enjoy a good conversation.
The rest you'll find out meeting me.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to expand my world by taking the opportunities i find worth doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the moment I can't host surfers, but I will love to show the town i was born, breed and now live in. If you are intersted in seeing some sights in Aarhus we can do that, or we can just hang out, maybe drink a couple of beers, throw a frisbee or hear some live music.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- My first Couchsurfing experience was in a "abandon" hostel in the perlermo neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. The people living/crashing there were awesome and the ideal there was that we ate together, went to events together and off course partied together. It was very different from how i usually live in denmark, but very cool and i was actually a little sad leaving the place so fast.
- Second experience as a couchsurfer took place in Santiago, Chile and was very different from my first experience. we lived 4-5 days with a chilean couple, a sportsjournalist and a lawyer. They told us about what was worth doing/seeing in Santiago to give us the best impression of the city, futhermore went we to a couchsurfing meeting with them for us to meet the couchsurfing culture in Santiago which i must say is pretty cool and very relaxed.
- My next experience happened rather unexpected, me and my friend was watching some football on a small beachstadium, when some guys asked us to join in the next match. we were like "hell yeah" and joined in, after the match they asked us to have a beer with them, we enjoyed playing with them and they seemed like some very cool guys so we joined them in their dorm/commune were we had the craziest party, the next morning they told us to go down to the hostel we were staying at to check out to come live with them. we stayed there for 8 days and had maybe the craziest and funniest week ever. it wasn't exactly planned but it felt very much like couchsurfing.
- my latest experience was in Buenos Aires right before going back to denmark, it was for sure a party house :) every morning we were discussing where to party in the night or if someone should come over to party in the big house.

Interests

Music in generel, I play music, mostly i sing but i'm capable of playing some guitar too :)
I'm a major cinefile, love everything from alternative films from poland to blockbusters like ironman, it basically depends on the mood.
I practise a lot of sport too, in the moment i play football (soccer) the most. Besides that i practise crossfit as substitution.
Boardgames.
I love to cook, interested to learn about different food cultures.
Besides that, i enjoy a good beer and definitely a smokey whisky.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything from justin timberlake to jazzmatazz and nick cave, always trying to expand my taste in music. In the moment i'm very interested in vokal music.
My favourite movie is probably "choke" by Clark gregg, but as i said, i'm a huge cinefile so i watch all types of movies.
I havn't read a lot but i got the taste of it after my trip to argentina. My "everest" is Moby Dick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One experience stands clearly out from all the others, but that one is private, so i will tell you about another one instead :P.
one of my greatest experiences as far as travelling goes, was my third so-called couchsurfing experience where me and my travelling buddy, very spontaneously ended up in a couchsurfing commune and had the craziest week with morning asados, endless pizcolas and so on.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sure, i will gladly share my knowledge.
