Join Couchsurfing to see Daniel Lewis and Devin’s full profile. It’s free!
We’re backpacking through western Europe before heading off to grad school. We want to meet new friends around the world and discover new ideas.
We first met during our undergrad years at Princeton University and have been together for over three years. Daniel grew up in Halifax, Canada but has a very confused accent due to his British upbringing. Devin is from Avon, CT. We graduated together in June this year. In the fall Devin is starting a PhD in Social Psychology at Cornell and Daniel is beginning a PhD in Economics at Harvard.
We're taking advantage of our last free summer to travel together through Western Europe! We're looking forward to unforgettable experiences and interesting people. We're fun, easygoing, adventurous, caring, and helpful. We look forward to getting to know you!
Do what your love.

Daniel: "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." -John Lennon
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We're looking to travel couch surfing-style this summer as we backpack through western Europe. We'll offer our own couches when we get home in the fall in both Ithaca, NY, and Boston, MA!
We’re starting our official couch surfing journey this summer, but we’ve really enjoyed having old friends stay on our couch for years now. We think it will be a great way to meet new friends too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In a recent trip to Costa Rica, we ziplined for a kilometer through the clouds, about 400 ft above the forest floor. It was like we were flying!
I rode an elephant!
I watched an unbelievable sunset in Sedona, Arizona.
I skied the biggest fresh snowfall in 100 years in Colorado. 8ft of powder!
I watched a monkey steal my clothes while I was skinny dipping in South Africa.
