Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me Couchsurfing is a way to meet many interesting people from all around the world.
I go by the philosophy that every single person can enrich my life in some way.
I love talking to people, learn new facts and views on life through a conversation!

Interests

I love food, everything about it: eating it, learning about it and preparing it.
As a scout, I love to get lost in nature with a backpack, and prefer mountains over beaches. I am also active in the scouting community.
I play amateur theatre and take dance classes, performing is so much fun. So is going to the theater, cinema or a good concert.
Living sustainably as much as possible and researching sustainable ways for polymer (plastics) production is something I aspire to do.
Aaaand K-Pop is my guilty pleasure, but I've never gone full throttle.

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS
Generally philosophical sci-fi and socio-historical novels.
Books specifically:
Name of the rose, The Foundation, All quiet on the western front, Hogfather, Snakes and Earrings, I also used to read a lot of manga :)

MOVIES
Pan's labyrinth, Oldboy, Spiritied away, Ghost in the Shell, Moonrise Kingdom, Gattaca, Blade Runner, Lucky, Patterson. Big shout out to anime Yuri on Ice.

MUSIC
My #1 go to would be (neo)psychedelic rock, but depends on the mood.
From classical music, hard-rock, melodic death metal, hip hop and jazz to techno, pop, K-Pop and J-Pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if I could pinpoint one big amazing thing, I've done. I think that the little things you do always add up and I live by that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to say "Ř". And more beautiful czech words which will definitely make you the star of a party.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely whip up a nice dinner, and if you want to learn some new dishes, we can definitely make something together.
I love movies and can show you some hidden gems.
I am a scout, so some survival tips are always in my head, including some neat knots :D
And maybe some nerdy stuff regarding chemistry and the scientific community as a whole. The stories.
