About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spreading the quiet revolution by singing songs on my guitar or banjo.

ABOUT ME

I am a trained osteopath although currently struggling to find work in that field so focusing on my passion that is music for the moment.
I play folk/country music on guitar and banjo and have recently moved to london, where so far I have lived on various couches and a boat. I now quite like the idea of running a venue on a boat... but this will take rather a lot of time to create.
When I'm not making music or playing gigs, I'm generally with my mates getting up to adventures. Being sensible is all very well, but if you don't laugh a lot then days seem really long.

PHILOSOPHY

Very few things can't be solved with a cup of tea.

Interests

Music, film art cooking and dancing to loud music in dark rooms. Oh and then cooking all my mates an epic breakfast before collapsing in a pile to watch something suitably naff and 80's whilst we ignore the fact that monday's inevitable.
Also a being a country lad I love hiking, camping and being able to pack my life in to a small bag. So far I've been to pretty much every country in europe and my next expedition is hopefully SXSW, Nashville and the the South Pacific Trail.

Music, Movies, and Books

Far too many to mention as I'm a proper geek when it comes to my music, and generally have few boos on the go at any one time. Firm believer that there's something to be gained from all creative expression.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been fortunate to get up to some pretty amazing things so far. Highlights have been hiking the pyrenees alone a few years back with armed with a large rucksack and a guitar. The hi-tech hikers thought I was mad but it was amazing.
Living on a boat for a bit earlier this year was rather fun too... jogger top trumps is now a well established game (basically think points for style, kit, weird hands, facial expressions... most amusing)
Hopefully just about to have an awesome time performing at Edinburgh Fringe for the first time too

Teach, Learn, Share

More people you meet the better, everyone's got something to share... find lad culture really boring though and hate being expected to take part.
