My mission is to entertain, show people around, be an amazing tour guide, make new friends and get to learn about different cultures.

ABOUT ME

My name is Maria Jose Garcia and I was born and raised in Guatemala City. I am a teacher working in an american school in Guatemala.
I come from a family of 5. My mom, my dad, and my older and younger brother. I studied in a bilingual school. After graduating form school, I studied Special Education at Universadad del Valle de Guatemala were I obtained my Special Education degree.
I am a very caring, out going, fun, friendly, respectful trustworthy person who enjoys meeting people, learning about different countries and cultures and who enjoys travelling, dancing, reading and having a good time. Because I work at an american school I am fortunate to have met people from around the world, people who have now become close friends. I really enjoy showing people around, taking them to different places, going out with friends,etc. Basically I am always up to have a great time!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to meet people from around the world, take them out, show them around, and help them with whatever they might want or need. Basically I would be a friend!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no previous Couchsurfing experience, but some of my friends do, I they have recommended for me to try it out!
