About Me

I am very easy going guy and as a university professor and an avid reader I have a very good conversation. I like to read, the auteur cinema, I do not like action films, I like to run, trekking, museums, churches, parks, the mountain. I am a Buddhist by choice and in transition to veganism. In my kitchen there are no animal carcasses, no chicken eggs, no milk from any mammals, and this is non-negotiable. My refrigerator is a grocery store and not a morgue and it will continue that way, I'm sorry, carnivorous friends. That does not mean I have to accompany anyone who wants to eat meat but outside my apartment. I am very kind to people and willing to be friends with my guests to where they allow it and wish to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want new friends for future trips. It is something purely of traveler interest. I host because I ask for accommodation in exchange, although not necessarily. I also do it because I like to know different cultures as well as show mine, teach my traditions, my city and nation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm an aviation pilot, I walked the Camino de Santiago on the Via Turonensis, I met the best lyric theater in the world, Teatro Colón, in Buenos Aires, singing from its stage with the choir of the University of Patagonia. He toured France by bicycle and crossed the Pyrenees to run with the bulls in the Sanfermines in Pamplona. I toured all of Argentina including Antarctica. I left offerings in the Ganges in India, in the Tiber in Rome, in the Tagus in Toledo, in the Arga in Pamplona, I traveled the Nile from south to north and the Thames only in London. I navigated the Sumidero Canyon in Mexico and meditated in Bodgaia in the shade of the tree where Buddha found its illumination

What I Can Share with Hosts

I offer my guests a two-seater sofa in my living room, free wifi, hot shower, advice on the city and my country and a loving chat. For breakfast and lunch and dinner (nothing animal, all vegan food,) we can fix it with little money, also go local tourism guide, all this is negotiable.
