Hi!
I am a 33 old woman who loves to explore and experience what life has to offer.. I am open, outgoing to meet people but I also like to share the silence. I sometimes need my own space and time and do things in my own tempo.

After many years of travelling, I am now settling down a in the beautiful country of Sweden!
Almost 2 years ago i moved from the Netherlands to Sweden to live together with my Swedish boyfriend after we met eachother in Sri Lanka. I was doing volunteer work in a daycare for children with a disability, he was just about to stop living his life as a monk, after 6 years in a (Theravada) bhuddist tradition.

I have worked parttime since i was 20 in Spa's and the last 6 years as a social worker with disabled children. As an addition to this, i started teaching yoga after graduating my yoga teacher training in India in februari 2015. Since 1,5 year i work in a spa as a therapist and yoga teacher in Sweden.

From the solid ground I have now, I still love to travel and see the beauty of everything in different places. I also love to meet other people. All different kind of people. I find it inportant that you are honest and respectfull.

Yoga, mindfullness and meditation are pillars in my daily life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet other people. Especcialy in their own environment, where they live. Most people are more themself at home and I like that.

I also like to offer place to stay so people can experience a pleasant cheap way of travelling.

Interests

I like to be in nature and go often out for a long walk and picknick in the forest. I like this especcialy with good company. On my way plucking some herbs, to make our own herbaltea to drink when we come home.
Also like playing boardgames and a good glass of wine every now and then.
