About Me

I spent the past 8 years living in Chicago and now this is coming to a close. I am traveling a little, seeing some places I might consider moving to see how they vibe. My handful of best friends are from all different ages and backgrounds. I have a penchant for spending time in nature, meditating, making art (charcoal, sculpture), and the 3 main things I seek daily: good food, good music and a good laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm considering moving to Colorado, New Mexico, or perhaps some small town not far from a beach on the west coast. I just want to visit these places and see what they're like so I can decided where I want to relocate long term.

Interests

Warm nights with good friends, good food, good wine, going to the beach, walks in warm rain, and working with my hands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hot air ballooning in New Mexico and I made a drawing from a black & white photo I found online of a young american hippie living in an intentional community of tree houses they built on a beach in Hawaii. You can find these photos online is you search for Camp Taylor in Hawaii.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make the BEST salsa I've ever tasted, a simple yet divine recipe I learned from a woman I rented a room from in Puerto Vallarta when I lived there. It's simply amazing, and can be made at any level of spiciness.
