ABOUT ME

This summer I've finished school in my hometown Zurich (Switzerland) and I am now doing a gap year where I wil be travelling around, working and broadening my horizon.
I'have been playing the trumpet solo and in an orchestra for more than 9 years and enjoy being with other, creating something and getting better in what u r doing. I mainly play classical music on the trumpet but I prefer listening to electronic music, electro-swing, trance or anything that fits to the mood I'm in.
During my leisure I do different sports such as Badminton, Tennis, Soccer and all kinds of endurance sports.
I am always up for trying something new: I have played in a theater group for two years, took dance courses with a group of friends, write and perform poetry slam myself and I am a big fan of street art such as Banksy, one truth...
Both of my parents came from Germany and I soon realised how u get judged easily by others especially by snobbish swiss people. Therefore I started giving a f*** on what others think about me, what I'm doing and what language I speak and I am trying to be open to every other cultural difference that excists...
I love to get to know new people and learn about their daily life, culture and language.
When I'm travelling I'm trying to keep the golden mean between some sightseeing and partying. When I say sightseeing I mean getting to know the culture/the spirit of a city and not taking pictures of every square inch of a buliding or a statue.

Above all I am a man of pleasure and try to enjoy every second of my life. I drink, I smoke sometimes and I will always eat dessert first ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am travelling myself so I can't host. From November till March I will be living and working in Berlin. Than I will become a host myself and will try to do my best to help others and have a good time with hosting surfers :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A good friend of mine travelled through Scandinavia with CS and recommended it to me.
