I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for a very long time but these days I am traveling a lot - up and down the West Coast, in Canada, South East Asia and in India. Also hoping to travel in Europe and Latin America soon.

I am a very positive person - always smiling, polite, and kind. I have a calm temperament and I take things in my stride. The most important thing in life is to strive to be a good person. I am a well-educated, clean, friendly, caring, helpful and honest man. I try to help people whenever I can and my friendships last a lifetime.

I like to meet people from different places and different cultures and enjoy a nice conversation over coffee, lunch, dinner or ice cream ;-) or even while visiting a museum or a park or garden together. Along the way, I hope to make some nice new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet interesting new people, make new friends and learn about other people and cultures. When we meet new people, a part of their world becomes a part of ours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were over 15,000 feet up in the Himalayas and I took a long dip in an almost frozen glacial lake.
