ABOUT ME
My name is David, I am 18 and I finished school last summer in Germany. I worked a lot once I left school to fund my dream of travelling Australia and New Zealand :) I'm an easy going and relaxed guy and love meeting new people. I met a lot of people in Nz, but most of them were also travellers and I would love to get to know more locals in Australia, so that is one of the reasons why I decided to do Couchsurfing. I'll start studying again in Germany in next April, so I unfortunatly have to leave Australia at the end of February. At home, I live on a farm in Germany near my hometown, which has about 50000 inhabitons. I have been travelling New Zealand over the last month and in the 16th of November I will fly to Australia! I'll start in Sydney and travel up the East Coast to Brisbane, as well as Alice Springs (Ayers Rock), Adelaide and Melbourne, so that I can see the Australian Open there. Before I go back to Germany I plan to visit Thailand for a couple of weeks.
Interests
I am very interested in sports, I am playing tennis since 10 years and enjoy improving my fitness. I like to go out with friends to hang out and drinking beer. I am very interested in learning about other cultures and this passion inspires me to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching movies and listening to music, although I do not have a favorite as it changes depending on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing things I have ever done were in New Zealand, especially the Skydive at the Franz-Josef Glacier was just insane and probably the best thing I have ever done. But also the Black Water Rafting in Waitomo and visiting Hobbiton (I am a big Lord of the Rings fan)
