ABOUT ME

I'm a vet student who loves science, experiments and learning new (not necessarily useful) information. I cook delicious vegan(ish) food. I love group activities (board games, dancing etc). I love traveling but often don't have the money needed. I'm outgoing and love to discuss/debate stuff I'm familiar with.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm on this planet for a short time. I try not to do damage and cause pain, and bring some good into the world by expanding knowledge.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't hosted yet, but I'd love to when I have the time and space. This year will be the first time I've traveled alone. I'm excited and scared at the same time.

Interests

Languages and linguistics, especially the way culture influences languages. Animals, not as pets (although they're awesome), but as complex biochemical systems. Music, especially metal energizes me and lifts my sometimes depressive mood. Daydreaming and sci-fi are my quiet time activities.

TV: Doctor who, Firefly, Community, The Big C, everything sci-fi.
Movies: I love nature documentaries, fantasy and sci fi.
Books: Usually realistic science fiction, LGBT fiction or non fiction books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saving a puppy from the brink of death. Watching the stars at night, or through a telescope. The moment when two people completely understand eachother without words.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my cooking with you, as well as anything I've learned in veterinary school. I can teach you Macedonian and Serbian if you're interested.
