About Me

I'm one of those outgoing introverts. I enjoy meeting new people and pushing the limits of my comfort zone. I also like reading and sleeping.

I'm a Montessori teacher of about 50 elementary-aged kids. On the good days, it's the best job in the world.

Guadalajara, Mexico and Buenos Aires are my current favorite cities :-)

Apologies if it takes me a long time to respond to your request - sometimes a while goes before I check my CS account. Make sure to tell me about yourself and feel free to nudge me.

I can't do longer-term requests, ie no more than a week. Last minute is usually OK unless I'm out of town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed in Mexico City, Reno, Buenos Aires, and Charleston. I've hosted people in New York, DC, Reno, and now Gainesville, Florida. Traveling and meeting new people is my biggest addiction. And I've made so many great friends through CouchSurfing. I think it's one of the best ways to come in contact with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

I hope you are on CS for similar reasons and that we can learn from each other! Please do not send me a couch request if you are only looking for a free place to stay and have no interest in a social/cultural exchange. Please share a bit about yourself, like favorite places you've traveled or your dream living situation :-)
