Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Prior to learning of this initiative I've periodically hosted guests visiting Windsor; I'm fortunate to have a house in downtown Windsor. In the winter it becomes a snowscape, in the summer a lush green space. Treefort in the back sails the storms....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last winter I hosted a filmaker from Japan attending the Media City experimental film & video festival. For years I've listened passionately to a Japanese recording and without any English on the dustjacket couldn't contextualize it. His knowledge changed all this... Now I listen with his silent presence thinking of his beautiful films...
