Travel and make friends, take lots of photographs, hike, ski and smell the nature. I prefer motorcycles to cars.

ABOUT ME

I found myself updating this profile after many years and I can say that I've changed a lot during that period. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people, especially locals that can show me their way of living.

I've participated in a lot of Youth in Action projects, learned a lot about other cultures and made lots of new friends.

After finishing my master in 2015, I moved from Bucharest to Dublin, Ireland with a new job. I bought a motorcycle, and rode for 15000 kilometers around Ireland in one year.

In March 2018 I started my motorcycle journey north from Cape Agulhas, South Africa to Romania.

I am a tidy and quiet person and I try to be as non-intrusive as possible. I like to leave every place I visit in the same state or better than I had found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I've lived in dorms with many different people during high school and university. I've also shared an apartment for a summer while in the US with people from different continents, so I guess I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to sharing.

I also have stayed at 30+ Airbnb hosts, all with positive feedback.

Interests

I am an IT guy and have been working with computers since high school (2006). My interests besides work revolve around traveling and photography, which blend perfectly together. Usually, I'm not a lazy person; I hike, walk, cycle my way around the places I explore.

I like to use a motorcycle to get around, because that way I can better feel the environment. All senses just open up and you become more aware of the bigger picture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went skidiving in the US, bungee jumping in Bulgaria and also skied between Italy (La Thuile) and France (Rosiere).
