About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To go to New Zealand on my own little mission!! Last time i travelled with a partner and I am very sure i will have much more fun on my own!!! Oh and also... The old cliche... I am going to try and find myself too!! LOL!!!!

ABOUT ME

Well, i get told i am pretty crazy most of the time (but they do stress it is in a good way tho)??? I am very easy to get along with... I am an Aries and very true to the characteristics. I am very easy to talk to and love meeting new people. I do get told i am quite funny and must admit i do see the funny side of things quite a lot!! Which is a good thing i suppose? I have a thirst for trying to better myself & try to see everything in a positive way... Obviously its quite hard at the moment as the whole world is going though a depression stage!!! I like hearing about how and why people are successful... Not necessarily with money but in happiness and in life and how they got there?

PHILOSOPHY

To be HAPPY!! To keep learning throughout my life, to stay open minded and positive!! I believe 'What goes around, comes around'... To also forgive and forget (eventually) do this for your own benefit! Also, i seem to say - "Deal with it" a lot, if there is a problem - You must "Deal with it"... I have a very happy personality and am always laughing... I like to see the funny side of life and i think it is always good if you can laugh at yourself too!! Don't get me wrong, i do have down times in my life... But by following my philosophy it doesn't last very long :D!!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment i am travelling around New Zealand and in May 2010 i will travel to South America... So i am currently looking for couches to stay on at the moment, but when i eventually get home and get myslef set up and will be MORE than happy to have people stay with me... Wherever i end up in the world??

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet - I am hoping to have my first experience in New Zealand. I am ok for accom at the moment and will be looking nearer Dec 09...

Interests

I am very sociable and am always out and about visiting old friends, making new friends... I am trying to think about a business idea at the moment so when i return to (possibly UK) i can set up my own business and be self sufficent!! I love staying active and keeping fit. I love watching movies and reading all sorts on genre!!!

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I feel i have done some amazing things in my life!! My travels in Papua New Guinea lead me to many dives with dolphins and sharks. I stayed in various villages along the Sepik River travelling by canoe, went crocodile hunting at night! I even witnessed an 'Initiation' of the young boys going into the Spirit houses and coming out as Men!! Making and eating Sago amoungst the large families... We were even invited to go to the village meetings and listen in on the agenda for the village. Experiencing the whole village life culture and enjoying every minute of it!!

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment i really want and need to learn Spanish as i will be travelling too South America in May 2010... So any Spanish lessons would would be very much appreciated!!
