CURRENT MISSION

To get my college degree and do some traveling around the States, particularly Florida

ABOUT ME

I'm a college student who wants to keep traveling. I've been around Europe a bit and realized how awesome the States are, but that I haven't seen most of what the USA has to offer. I need to travel around my own country and I intend to do that this next year.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all just human beings, and I consider us all equal. Therefore I find it absurd to follow a path of normality that other humans deem safe or standard. I find that boring. I try and break from the system not for the sake of doing it, but for the sake of finding my own way. I think everyone should try and find their own path in life.

I believe in Nature as God, and I believe that it should be respected, admired, and imitated. I look at a tree and see its complexity and admire whatever it is that led to that tree coming about in all its perfection.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't CouchSurfed yet, but every time my host family has taken me around Germany we've stayed with old friends and family that knew the cities. It was a much better experience than staying in a hostel and trying to experience the culture from the outside. I love it when people who love their city share their experiences. It's a much better way to visit and learn a place.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite modern bands/songwriters are Wilco (Jeff Tweedy), Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes (Conor Oberst), and Elliott Smith, and Dustin Kensrue. I am constantly awed by their ability to write music and poetry.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happiness is a search that has taken my whole life so far. As long as I keep moving, I've found I come closer to finding it.

Relationships with family and friends are key, if not the most important thing, in life.

Goals are dangerous; go with the flow.
