ABOUT ME

I'm a British student, just finished my undergrad degree. I did a big trip in 2009 over to Russia, Mongolia, China and then Cuba, which was incredible. Since then I've done a few small trips to cities in Europe when I can, but funds have been limited.

This year I'm moving to the Netherlands to study for my Masters at Leiden University.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never surfed, but I've met up with people for drinks and a local to show me around. It's been great to see a place you visit from a different perspective.

Interests

As a Politics and Economics student I'm interested in anything that can teach me a little more about other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Travelling books, I actually love guide books with a little history in them.
I'd recommend the book In Xanadu by William Dalrymple. Fun travel book bassed around recreating a classic journey - Exactly what I'd love to do!
