To extend my awareness of myself through the process of sharing and listerning to others.
I'm a guy who enjoys he's own company, but loves the warmth from being with friends and family. I've been working in the field of social work for the last 9 years, but have also been fortunate to fulfill a dream of racing professionally in the sport of triathlon (swim/bike/run). Though this experience gave me much learning, one of the things that resonated for me most was, I like the fluidity of life!
My philosophy is one of contradicition. Somedays I have conviction, while other days I 'blow in the wind'. I do know that I'm a deep thinker, but am aware that I can't take myself to serious because I might get lost "in my head".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, being a new member I have not had any CS experiences. However, I hope this will change in time

Music, Movies, and Books
Flaminco, Drum'n'Bass, Hip hop, Soul, folk music. I'm a big 'fantasy' fan in regards to books (Lord of the rings, etc), but find myself reading alot of biography and auto-biography material. Movies range from 'Patch Adams' to 'Crash'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A migration of penguines in Tasmania (Australia) during sun down. Watching grown men cry openly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not comfortable passing on some 'teaching'especially if I don't know a person. But what I would like to learn is how people see themselves and how their world impacts on their lives.
