ABOUT ME

From advertising to travel writing and a rock band to a radio station, I am a nomad at heart and a writer by choice. After dropping out of business school, I spent 4 years in advertising and moved to a youth portal where I developed a site dedicated to offbeat travel in India. Ever since, have been a regular contributor to leading travel publications, with several books to my credit (on Kerala, Karnataka, Hampi) and many Outlook Traveller guidebooks (on Bangalore Getaways, Trekking in India, etc). Trekked in the Himalayas, taken part in a Tiger Census n Bird Surveys, stayed with monks in a monastery, hitchhiked my way from Ladakh in a truck n many other adventures. I play a key role in the development strategy of Wild World India (a wildlife & travel company) and am currently working on a travel/social networking site called Yondr, besides planning to see as much of the world before we screw it up any further.
