About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live with passion and intent, to care about the world and others and to share with others.

ABOUT ME

Well, lets see, I've always thought my life was a sitcom waiting to happen. I have three kids, all grown now but one was home grown, the other two special delivery. One vanilla two chocolate, you figure it out... My x left me for another man who he is happily married to for the past 12 years I love life and to laugh, I was a single mom for 14 years and then fell madly in love and keep falling everyday more and more. We've been together for 5 years now, and yes my quirks keep showing up as he's a bit younger than I but somehow it works amazingly. We have two dogs, one cat and two housemates. We are tying to be urban farmers in the middle of the city and have two chickens named Millie and Sadie they are super sweet and wonderful. We are all vegetarians so our chickens are just for eggs. We are kind and working on our spiritual path of truth and enlightenment and try to live gently on the land. We have bikes everywhere and try to use them as often as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to be lived. To love with an open honest heart and not hold back. To give more than you receive and always to laugh and honor those in our lifes we are lucky to call friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are just starting,we want to see the world through others eyes and share in the beauty of our life with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was gifted the use of a couch in Ireland once and it touched my heart. A family picked me up when a ferry dropped me off when buses wouldn't be running for a day. They took me home fed me, played music and shared a bit of their life with me and it's a night I will never forget. I would like to someday be someones memory as well.

Interests

So many, we are a very crafty family. We have all sorts of projects around here, I sew, knit, and create with food. Brad is a jewelry maker, a lover of old cars, owns a rat rod model T with a 48 flathead motor in it, bikes really are coming out our ears as all three guys in the house love to build them and Brad works in bike shops, we do forging and a bit of fire dancing. We love to camp and go to festivals and faires

Music, Movies, and Books

Music yes, Books yes, Movies yes so many so little time for all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gee wiz, isn't life amazing on it's own, I mean, what beats the sunrise or the sunset or the sound of the trees swaying in the forest, or the eyes of a young deer or the feel of water as it trickles over your toes in a mountain stream... mother earth graces us every single day I can't imagine anything more incredible than waking to a new day and having the opportunity to find lifes magic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to have open heart conversations with others, I love to share from the spirit. It's hard to express what it feels like when you make that type of connection with others but when it happens it's magic... I love magic.

I have several practical skills in life I would share with anyone who wanted to know, sewing cooking, knitting, crocheting, canning, rituals, basket weaving a bit of gardening, chicken life just a bit,
