To learn something new every day from as many people as possible.
I try to live my life day by day, experiencing all that this world has to offer. I treat people, animals and our planet with respect. I've been called a hippie, but I still like to party. I just want to get out there and live life... it is too short to let slip by!
Treat all of humanity with respect, do not judge, and love every time the chance is presented. What else matters?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I don't have a couch to offer, but I have taken in more people than I can count in the past. I hope to be in a position to do that again. Until that time, I hope to meet some people with diverse outlooks on this crazy place we call earth and travel as much as possible.
Well, I have always offered a place to stay when able. My living situation is unusual at the moment, but I am working on that. Through the years, some of the coolest people I've come in contact with have been those that crashed at my place.
I like to do just about anything. I like art, books, movies, meeting new people, discussing diverse cultures, and I live for that moment when my mind expands and I come to understand a point of view I had not previously considered.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love indie flicks, but also some mainstream movies. I don't watch TV, not because I am too cool, but because I only have 2 channels. So I read the classics, poetry, visit with friends, anything to occupy my mind. And music, sweet music, I simply can't live without it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been very down, and then I saw the humanity in the eyes of an elderly homeless woman that made my heart whole again. I've lived all over, loved on all plains of existence, and don't ever want to stop! My biggest challenge is to be sure that my heart never stops loving and my freedom is never lost!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have no idea what to put here. I guess the only lesson I would share is to stay positive about life. We only have this one chance at it, so let's be kind. To all life. Stand up for what you believe in, and listen to the views of others. This world is a beautiful place to be, so we should all share in it.
