About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find myself and have fun the whole way there

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going girl from san francisco who has as much fun exploring myself as I do the world. I'm fascinated by the complex simplicities and simple complexities of life and where they all blend together.
I study literature because I believe that the only thing truer than truth is the story. I have many interesting stories which I love to tell and write, and every day seems to bring me more. I've started living my life as if I'm the main character in my own novel, throwing myself into new situations to find out what happens next. I'll try almost anything once, unless my vertigo stops me...

PHILOSOPHY

There is no bad or good. There just is.

Interests

I love meeting new people, music, art, literature, exploring, and asking questions. However, my favorite is meeting new people and asking them quesions about music, art, and literature.
I also love taking moments of silence, usually in the morning or late afternoon, to write. Writing is my truest love for internal exploration and deep conversations is my truest love for external exploraton.

Music, Movies, and Books

To give a broad idea of what I most often listen to, I'll start with neil young, bob dylan, manu chou, grateful dead, frank sinatra, john coltrain, tortoise, common, the roots, janis joplin, lightnin hopkins, willie nelson, prefuse 73, dj harvey, poets of rhythm, david axelrod, sly and the family stone, fella kuti, and on and on...
books are harder. i'll let it stand at electric koolaid acid test, bhagavad gita, lolita, a portait of the artist as a young man, the wasteland, paradise lost, tales of ordinary maddness and the little prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I opened my mind to possibility

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I know. every once in a while I'll tell someone something interesting or teach them something new and I'm usually more surprised by myself than they are.
