About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm making it a personal mission to show the world how great the Philippines is and I'm doing it one CS member at a time.

ABOUT ME

Having grown up outside the Philippines, I was raised on a diet of Macaulay Culkin movies, Barbie dreams, and the sounds of MTV. When I returned to the Philippines during my teens, I began to seek out a distinctly Pinoy culture. So far, I'm loving what I'm seeing. Manila is a fertile ground for art, music, fashion, and fun. Living in a little known, third world country definitely has its perks. Adventures are affordable and discovery doesn’t come in the usual package.

My best advice for travellers new to the Philippines is to go out on the streets where faces, traffic, and landscape can create a collage of experiences that’s gritty and real.

I am a 26 year-old dreamer who also happens to be an advertising copywriter. I love to travel and I'm plotting out how I can backpack through the entire Philippine Archipelago. I also want to see my passport filled because it's looking pretty sad at the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

There's no place like home. But sometimes we have to leave then come back to truly appreciate it. I love the Philippines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just toured my first friends here in Binondo (our Chinatown). Be my second guest!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some great people in China. I can't wait for the next adventure.

Interests

Hmmm... I think I want to have a friend in every single country.

I love doing new things. When, I'm not doing that I'm usually working. When I'm not doing that, I'm recording my experiences by writing or taking lomographs.
