HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for my first CouchSsurf. I joined CouchSurfing while traveling from India to Spain, but I always found outside hosts and friends to help out. Now coming to the UK I am looking for a job and would love to find places to stay in London for a bit. Always up for meeting travelers when I return back to NYC...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience include people I met along the way and friends of friends. For example, I stayed with a lovely family for a week outside of Barcelona. In Israel, I stayed with a friend whom I met in India for a couple of weeks. I can gladly provide references.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I just fell in love with Balkin Beat Box...Supertramp, MIA, Nick Cave, Kylie Minogue..(most all music but country)
Movies: Too many to mention. (good production design, story, and editing. ie: Volver, Pans Labrynth)
Books: The World Without Us, Unbearable Lightness of Being, White Tiger, Life of Pie, R. Dahl short stories, Maximum City: Bombay, etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Into Jordan: hiked into deserted trails behind Petra with a Bedouin guide: up through the desert mountains and an almost vertical climb down in flipflops...
