keep chillin' like a villain
I love hearing about different folks, and countries, and their lives and their past and their dreams. A good day for me includes delicious food, a stroll, lounging, and maybe a drink or something. The simple things make me happy. I have a special love for the coast, and big trees and walking through the woods.
I have a bit of an unusual family so I love to hear about diversity. I also have gotten myself into lots of crazy situations so I have some fun stories.
Overall, life is short, so lets enjoy it, right? Be good to others and they'll be good to you. People are amazing. Do what makes you happy, and who am I to judge? That's what I'm about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to live in a house that hosted many a couch surfer. However, I never used my account back then, as they were arranged through a roommate. Now, I may or may not be able to host, but I am almost always up for at least a drink or a stroll to explore this great city with a new stranger. There is a lot to see and do, especially in the summer.
Singing our hearts out at karaoke with pitchers of beer and lots of laughs.
Pub quizzes on Mondays with the CS MTL crew were always a good time!
Impromptu meals, singalongs, deep conversations, neighborhood walks
you, music, movies, film, photography, food, camping, walking, parks, beaches, mountains, politics, art, theatre, anthropology, sociology, hockey, soccer, languages, life histories, bonfires, maps, chocolate, coffee, beer, maps.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music list could go on forever. The endless passion in my life.
Movies same thing...
I can't say I read a lot of books to be honest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked with at risk teenagers.
Saw Radiohead live in the pouring rain.
Camped in the Canadian wilderness almost every summer.
Went to Bogota all the way from Canada for a total stay of only 50 hours.
Went to Machu Picchu only to have photos lost in a cab.
Steered a ferry in Turkey and had tea with the captain.
Smoked a fat joint in an Amsterdam cafe on a six hour stopover at Schiphol.
Got robbed by gypsies by the beach in Chile.
Saw rolling hills of green in Ireland and Wales.
Was a film projectionist for years.
Fell off a bus in Peru because my legs froze from the cold with the high altitude.
Walked until my feet were blistered and bleeding in New York City.
Lived in temperatures as cold as -50 in Manitoba, Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
