ABOUT ME

I consider myself a nice person, and because of my family background (polish parents emigrated to Spain, but they lived in other countries in Europe before, and we all have norwegian nationality, it´s a long story..) I think I am pretty international person. I live in a polish-spanish mixed culture and I love travelling, so I am rally interested in other cultures. Each time I meet someone from a country that I don´t anything about it I spend a long time asking about absolutely everything.
When I was a child I was used to meet people from all over the World, and I still enjoy it.

Apart of that I am a calm girl, I am not extremely talkative, but if I feel confortable I talk for hours. I like reading books in spanish, polish and english, listen to music, especially in the radio, going to cinema with my friends..But the best is travelling ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can participate in this project offering a nice place to stay while you are visiting Madrid.
If it´s summer, you can refresh in the pool after the whole day of walking around the city, and if it´s winter you can get warm close to the fire place in my living-room (in Madrid sometimes it can be really cold, don´t think we have always summer ;) )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new on this, but I can say that we already had some people living at home that we didn´t know before. Usually they were my parents friends children, and they used to call: hi, I am the daugther of..., could I stay for few days in your place??
My friends in Madrid use to call my place the United Nations home because we often have people from all over the World, but speciallu from Europe.
Now I am doing something similar here in the US, I am travelling from house to house, sometimes visiting my parents friends that I don´t know at all! but it´s a great experiece, they are all very nice and they allow me to stay in their couches with pleasure.

Interests

My first hobby is riding my horse, I spend a lot of time doing it, I love him and he is really important in my life. I use to do jumping, so I have to train several days per week, and I also go to horse shows all over Spain. But of course I also enjoy a simple walk in the countryside, especially in the spring, or in summer in the late evening, it´s great!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is Coldplay, Shakira, Jamiroquai, U2, Bryan Adams, Maná and some spanish groups and singers.

About movies, I prefer comedies and romantic stories. I have recently watched The Gran Torino, it´s a really good film, I loved it.
I also enjoy watching spanish cinema, like Almodovar, even if sometimes the movies are really czazy...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I think right now about something amazing I have done I don´t find anything, but I don´t know, probably the Camino de Santiago by horse, it´s a peregrination in Spain. It took us around 2 weeks and it was amazing.
