O mnie

I want to see everything. Oh, and also prevent me needing to get a real job for as long as possible. I'd like to meet a Tapir? They seem friendly enough

I once read a quotation that has stuck with me: by some guy called Augustine. Imagine the world as a book; those who have not travelled have read only the first page. Experience is why I like to travel. I like meeting people. I like doing things I wouldn't normally. I like newness and change.

I like lots of things. I've got a mind like a child so consequently like foods that wobble - I used to have dreams of a sea made of lime jelly (I also had a dream where I invented a type of tea capable of turning Mr T. green.). I like smarties (the food).
I'm quite obsessed with music. I like all sorts. At the moment I really like African music (like Baaba Maal, Tinariwen, etc.). I play instruments too (saxophone, clarinet, drums).
I ski and I'm a ski instructor. I like cycling but I crash too much to make it a worthwhile hobby.
My favourite number is either 3 or 7 and my favourite crisps - boringly, ready salted. I don't like the fancy crisps that call salt & vinegar: balsamic vinegar and crushed sea salt. They're pretentious crisps and I shall not eat them. Also they tend to hurt my mouth. Crisps with a shape are the best because they're more interesting. Pom bears are probably the best example.
I like tea. There's a tea shop in Manchester called the art of tea and, certainly, tea IS an art.
I like Glastonbury, the festival.
I like radio 4. It's like having people in the room talking at you quietly in soothing tones. That's why the shipping forcast is the best programme to fall asleep to even if the directions they discuss are mythological (sou-sou-westerly?). If I had to choose a voice to replace my own I would choose Tony Benns' (like an angry grandpa).
I like Autumn because it's the right temperture for me while remaining vaguely sunny. I also like jumping in autumnal puddles and stepping on autumnal leaves.
Things I find magical: fluff. That crazy substance that somehow grows in pockets and belly buttons worldwide.
If I could have a sofa made from anything it would be from that stuff you get inside Milky Ways (The room would be made from the inside of a crunchie).
Making biscuits.
Favourite smells: the rain one, the grass one, and this one you get at night time after a hot day.
Those are just some thoughts. Talk to me! I'll tell you more.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I like lots of music. I won't list it all.

I like books generally - they're better than films because your imagination can fill all the gaps in.

Films are good when you're feeling lazy.
