ABOUT ME

I have a long, rich career as a nurse midwife serving the Latina migrants and other under-resourced people of my community. I am a mom of two delightful young adults with whom I enjoy traveling or just being at home when they visit. I like to be friendly, fun, thoughtful, considerate, curious, compassionate, passionate, and I practice Non-Violent Communication. I feel a lot of gratitude for a charmed life, and I appreciate of opportunities to help make the lives of others a little better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's interesting to meet new people, share cultures and ideas. I enjoy hosting to contribute to the financial ease of travelers and to give a local perspective on points of interest in the area. I grew up in a home that was always hosting visitors; it just feels right.
