I was born in the north of Spain, and came to the United States at the age of 19. I lived in New York for a time and then Washington D.C. for 25 years. I have three grown children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think the idea of Couch Surfing is wonderful, and i love the concept that people can not only stay in free accommodations, but they get to meet new people. I hope it encourages more people to travel as it becomes more affordable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet experienced any couch surfing experiences, but a friend of mine has had wonderful experiences, and i'm excited to participate.

Interests

I love hiking, running, and anything outdoors. I love reading biographies, going to the movies, listening to opera. I also love my dog, Winston. He is a great runner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to the United States all by myself with limited English at the time. That was an adventure.
Backpacking the various 14erns of the Colorado mountains has been quite the experience as was the two-month journey around Spain and France with my daughter and two back packs.
